These Ashburnham bricks are the top of the range.  Originally made in the village of Ashburnham in East Sussex, they have their characteristic grey or blue ends, szween in many Victorian properties in the Kent and Sussex area.  These bricks are highly sought after as not many buildings with this type of brick are demolished.
