stones and grind stones</a> in varying sizes.  The large stone in the picture
is a mill stone and the small one a grind stone.  Both are original and over
100 years old.

These James Woodford sculptures were recycled during the demolition of a property
in Kent.  <strong>James Woodford</strong> (1893 – 1976) was an English
sculptor from Nottingham. His father was a lace designer. Woodford started studying
at the Nottingham School of Art<font color="#000000">,</font> but enlisted during
the First World War. After the war, he continued his training at the Royal College
of Art in London.
</p>

These snooker bed slates were reclaimed when the local social club in Wahurst East
Sussex closed down.  There were two full sized tables each made up of 4 pieces
of slte.  Each piece would be ideal for a slate hearth or a work surface.

These sandstone pad stones or staddle stones were recycled by a local oak framed building
company. If you are building your own timber framed structure they offer an inexpensive
alternative to new stones.&amp;nbsp;
